Majestic
Knights of Terror prides itself on its level of gaming
professionalism demonstrated by our members through superior play, and
superior attitude.
1. Teammates come First
MKT is not about individualism it is about team work and solid unit
tactics in a fast paced environment. We look out for our own members 1st
in all games. We encourage our members at all times. We never knowingly
disrespect a fellow member in a public game or chat forum. We have
engagement de-briefs to review all actions both positive and negative.
2. Honorable Conduct
MKT members will conduct themselves in a manner that reflects
positively on the clan in all gamming divisions. This includes leisure
play, tournaments, challenges, and practices. This means we refrain from
abusive language towards a fellow gamer, and abusive actions directed at
or to other players, sysops, and members of the online community in
general. Whether we win or lose we encourage other clans and teammates and
don’t blame misshapes on each other.
3. Sanctioned All Games
MKT refrains from the use of "cheat codes", "hacked"
add-ons, and other programs, patches, tools designed to give unfair
advantages to players. MKT will abide by the rules granted to us by the
game or server that we are playing in. Only official Company or
accepted tools/utilities will be permitted and accepted for MKT’s to
use.
4.
Sanctioned Practices Only
Division practices will be held after meetings. All members are required
to participated in practices of the decision that they are most active in.
Members are encouraged to play online together as much as possible.
Practices maybe posted or not. Posted practices are mandatory and every
effort will be made to accommodate member schedules. You will get notified
in the mail and it will be posted.
5. Member Identification
In order to identify MKT members as apposed to the rest of the online
gamers, we require that members either modify their current online game
accounts or create new Microsoft Gamming
Zone accounts with the "MKT_*****" designation in front of
screen names. This will ensure that members are able to identify other
members quickly. This structure does not apply to Pending members.
6.
Recruiting for MKT
People
that would like to join or who we would like to invite into MKT will have
to meet the following requirements:
Possible
recruits must have a Microsoft Gamming Zone
account name.
Possible
recruits must be active in the division(s) they are willing to join.
Possible
recruits must show superior skill and attitude during/after games.
Possible
recruits must not in any way cheat ask how to cheat or be willing to cheat
in the future.
Finally
possible recruits must get along with all members of MKT and show respect
for each and everyone one of them.
7.
New Division Members
Current
MKT members. Any current MKT member who is a rank higher than that of a
private may join a new MKT division at any given time.
It must be mentioned to a Senior Officer so that the proper changes
can be made in the division itself.
Prospects and Privates. Any
current MKT member who is a rank of private or lower must get the permission of a two Senior Officers in order to join a new MKT
division.
Any gamer who is seen as fit to join a division may be recruited by any
member in that division of higher rank than private pending the approval
of two Senior Officers.
8.
Cheats and MKT Game play
Hacking and Cheating. Any member
of MKT caught using a hack, script, cheat program, or any other method of
cheating will be put on suspension of the division and possibly be
suspended from the clan. That
which follows will be determined after a meeting of Senior Officers and
the General, which are limited but not restricted to further suspension,
demotion, or even dishonorable discharge.
Game play
.It has been noted that
‘TK’s (team-killings) happen in games with friendly fire on.
MKT strides for an honorable and fair play style.
Thus, in games with friendly fire, members are to refrain from
aggressive team-slaughter, unless there are mitigating circumstances.
This style of play is looked down upon in MKT and may result in the
questioning of a member’s current status in the clan.
9.
Promotions and Demotions
Promotions. As part of any
military-structure, there are promotional options on occasion.
Promotions within the division will be determined by a meeting of
several Senior Officers and ultimately will be decided by the General
and/or the Lt. General. Promotions are appointed and cannot be requested.
Demotions. As a last resort,
demotions may take place but are highly unlikely.
Members will more likely be dishonorably discharged rather than be
demoted for their actions. Demotions
may occur when members become heavily inactive, or need an extended amount
of time off.
10.
Meetings and Dishonorable Discharge
Meetings
As an essential part of an
organized group, there are meetings.
All members are required to attend weekly meetings unless there are
mitigating circumstances. Mitigating
circumstances can be a number of things, however, an attempt should be
made at notifying a member via forum, email, or zone message.
Dishonorable Discharge
There
is a punishment that is far worse than demotion.
Dishonorable discharges are a rarity and are used as a last option.
Those who are dishonorably discharged cannot become a member of
MKT.
11.
Any problems with the rules above are to be addressed to the senior MKT
officers. While MKT_TopllGun is the judge, the senior MKT's are the
jury.
12.
Failure to follow the above rules may result in suspension or lowering of
rank or to the point of a dishonorable dispatch.
These
structures form the basis of MKT Code of Conduct. MKT Executive reserves
the right to add or modify structures in the future. All members will be
notified of pending updates to the Code of Conduct and will have ample
time to review and ask questions of the changes.
